Invitation To Tender
INVITATION TO TENDER

The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in collaboration with the Republic of China-on-Taiwan invites suitable contractors to tender for the "Construction of the Langley Park River Gabion Basket Protection Project".

The successful tender will be expected to:
  • Provide statement of qualification;

  • Procure all materials in accordance with the works;

  • Construction the works in accordance with the Tender Documents, approved drawings, and the local building code;

  • Be responsible for all costs connected with the construction;

  • Provide a detailed method statement for the works.
Scope of Work:

The scope of works iincludes but is not limited to the following: river training and construction of the gabion basket protection.

Tender Process:

Tender Documents may be collected as of Monday August 22nd, 2011 to Wednesday September 21st, 2011 at the Office of the Chief Engineer, Ministry of Transport, Works, Urban Development and Local Government (MTWUDLG), St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Contract:

The successful applicant will be expected to enter into a contract with the Ministry of Transport, Works, Urban Development and Local Government.

Cost of Tender Documents & Method of Payment:

A non-refunded fee of EC$250.00, payable to Accountant General, will be required for each Tender Document.

Submission of Tenders/Bids:

The completed Tender Document should be placed in sealed envelope clearly marked "Construction of the Langley Park River Gabion Basket Protection Project" and lodged no later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, 21st September, 2011 at:

Late submissions will not be accepted

Tender Opening/Opening of Bids:

The tender opening will be at 2:15 pm on Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, 2nd Floor, Administrative Building, Kingstown and is open to the public.  Interested contractors or their authorized representatives are invited to attend the opening.
